Redefining the way we learn.

Welcome to the
journelism Experience Bank

While most websites and communities feature forums, here at journelism we have the "Experience Bank." This is the opportunity to share your experiences as well as learn from others peoples' successes, failures and lessons learned. The Experience Bank is categorized by interest area, which is found to the right within the Navigation box. The topics within each category are based on milestones at the left. Regardless of age, nationality or occupation, we all have lived through experiences applicable to one another. Getting started is as easy as 1-2-3:

  • Click on a specific category of interest to you (i.e. business, music, writing et al.)
  • Then click on a topic (or milestone) based on where you are along the journey:
    • Aha Moment - Have a great idea? Thinking of changing something? Connect with others and take on your dreams.
    • The Jump - Did you just take a leap of faith into a new venture or profession? Have you reached a different stage in life? Connect with others who have also made this change to follow an interest, dream or passion. Share the first week, month, six months or year.
    • The Sacrifice - What have you had to sacrifice to pursue your goal? Speak with others who have made similar sacrifices; show support and have your questions answered.
    • The Brick Wall - Have you hit a roadblock or are facing what seems like an insurmountable challenge or task ahead? Learn from others experiencing similar challenges.
    • Share the Wisdom - What pieces of advice do you have for people looking to follow a similar path? Share the wisdom and knowledge gained along your journey.
    • Biggest Oops - What critical setbacks or mistakes have you made either in life or occupation? Discuss the learning experiences and meet others who have made similar mistakes.
    • Go Ahead...Celebrate - Did you just accomplish something of which you are extremely proud? To what do you attribute these accomplishments? Share with others the life-defining experiences that led up to them.
  • Start sharing your individual experiences and connect with others on all levels.
